Partner with Habitat Northern Virginia
Habitat for Humanity of Northern Virginia offers many sponsorship opportunities. There are many types of sponsorship, as well as many levels, so your business can always find a way to partner with us in our mission to provide affordable housing in our community.
A “Habitat Partner” contributes funds (above $7,500) in any of our partnership categories. We always have a number of events and projects in the pipeline, and are always to discuss partnership opportunities for any of them. Review the information on this page and take a moment to think what your goals are, and what resources you have at your disposal for sponsoring something like a Group Build Day or an event. Those two details will guide you as you consider the best partnership option for you and your business.
When your group, organization, or faith community makes a commitment to contribute, Habitat for Humanity of Northern Virginia will be your partner every step of the way, ensuring that your experience is fun, safe, meaningful and successful!

House Sponsorship – Group Build Days:
Home ownership provides more than just a place to live; it gives families the foundation necessary to build a better life. Having a safe, affordable home provides life skills that make better parents, stability for the kids to become better students, and a sense of community that allows a family to thrive.
Habitat for Humanity of Northern Virginia continues to build new homes, repair the exteriors of existing homes, and rehabilitate foreclosures in partnership with low-income families in need of decent and affordable housing.
We can’t do it without you! It is only with the financial support from the community and a gift of your time and talent, Habitat Northern Virginia will be able to offer a “hand up, not a hand out” to northern Virginia families in need.
As you browse the opportunities on our website, we hope you will thoughtfully consider a gift to help continue our work in your community.

Habitat for Humanity has events throughout the year. From Homeowner events to volunteer events, from “Friend-raisers” to fundraisers, Event Sponsorships allow us to produce events that support our community and further our mission. Please contact Peter Larson, Director of Development, at (703) 521-9890 ext 103 for information on upcoming events.
Our home owners share a common need for simple, decent, affordable housing. Over 800 people can call Northern Virginia home because of Habitat’s Partner Sponsors.
“In addition to the overcrowded situation where they share their two-bedroom home with three daughters, there are problems with the foundation and a sinking floor in some areas. Also, the practically nonexistent insulation and paper-thin walls lead to exorbitantly high heating and cooling costs.”
