Update to volunteers about COVID-19
Thank you for volunteering with Habitat for Humanity of Northern Virginia! Your health and safety are important to us, and we want to ensure you have a positive volunteer experience.
We are currently still building on our sites and our ReStores are open but want to make sure everyone stays as healthy as possible!
For our construction sites, we are asking for people to bring their own work gloves if they have them to help cut down on the spreading of germs.
In addition to the safety information you will receive on the site, we also want you to be aware of the basic protective measures you can take related to the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) outbreak.
We look forward to seeing you on one of our sites as we work to build a better Northern Virginia for families through homeownership. If you feel unwell or decide not to participate, please log in to Volunteer Hub to cancel your shift.
If we have to make any changes, we will communicate these as soon as possible through our website, email and on our social media channels. You can stay informed on the latest developments about COVID-19 by following the CDC or the World Health Organization.
If you have any questions, please let us know by emailing us at [email protected] .
